position I play for Glen Clarence

Team supported growing up? Manchester United.
Childhood hero? Eric Cantona, just loved everything about him always on the
edge from kicking fans to scoring world class goals retired to early š¢
Biggest influence? Family canāt pick one family and kids out of the fam. Glen Clarence
the gaffa, understood me, really get on helped me personally in my younger days
as well as football top bloke
Favourite current player? Bruno Fernandes for me, hate his moaning whining and diving but
Iāve watched him a lot live this year and heās a winner šÆ covers every blade of grass works his bollocks off and very technically
good.
Best ground youāve played at? Gigg Lane Bury against FC United of Manchester playing for
Hucknall town. Great experience for me spent most the game singing the United
songs on the pitch that the FC United fans were singing tho š¢š”
Best friend in football? Nick Hall
& Nathan Benger two top top players and even better blokes. think Nath had
to distance himself a bit as heās not meant to be supping 10 pint every Saturday
š» šš¼ āŖļø.
Best player youāve played against & why? Lee Hendrie, at the age of 40 for Basford was unreal ran
the show
Footballing Night out You & 4 others. Whoās getting an
invite? Favourite question this one.
Nick Hall make me look good his dress sense is woeful, but heāll
be last in we me.
Gaz Webster absolute nightmare when heās pissed loves to strip
off causes carnage.
Nathan Benger always need a sensible one to keep us out of
bother.
Kenny Shinfield cost you a fortune as heās tight as cramp but
great on a night out.
Your
All time 5 a side team of players you have played with?
1 Keeper: - Ian
Deakin, Deaks great keeper total winner great in a changing room and
distribution with his feet class, Joey Mac is very unlucky not to get in tbf.
1 Defender: - Chris Shaw (shawy) great defender total winner and great lad for changing rooms another one who liked a sup you have to be a drinker to make this 5 a side team! š»
2 Midfielders: - Nick Hall, without doubt the best iāve played we seen him win
games on his own. You need Nick Hall in your side when youāre up against it and
itās a battle total warrior and can play a bit as well.
Sam Jones, another great player and a great lad another one that
went on to play league football technically class and another grafter
1 Striker ā Nathan
Benger, without doubt massive team player the season I scored 56 I think he put
55 on a plate for me! Great lad to have in a changing rooms top top bloke love
the lad to bits.
Best moment of your career? Breaking the goal scoring record at Heanor is up there big club with a lot of history just frustrating that we havenāt won anything collectively.
Go to initiation song? I aināt doing one Iām taking the fine unless I can have a few beers first, fav song Don mclean American Pie
Pre match meal? Me Granma passed away 2 years ago, never missed a game loved the
beautiful woman to bits. I used to go there for me breakfast Sat mornings beans
on toast 3 slices 2 fried eggs cup of coffee 2 sugars, she loved a fag so
inhaled probably 2 fags as well whilst I was there! it worked tho.
Messi or Ronaldo? Viva Ronaldo. Messi is natural more gifted but thatās why I
choose Ronaldo heās had to work harder for it. It comes more natural to Messi, I
love a grafter.
Thank you Keano for taking time to answer the questions above and all the best with your injury recovery.
